Answer: Hi Marie,
Thank you for your enquiry.
I would like to invite you to visit rtwskin Clinic for a Complimentary Consultation with one of our highly trained Laser Technicians. During this time, your Practitioner will assess your Hair/Skin type and they will discuss the areas you would like treated. It is at this stage that a Laser Patch test will be provided, which needs to be monitored for 24 hours to check you have no adverse reactions. Together, a personal treatment plan will be created, and costs and durations of treatment will be provided.
We offer a number of devices for hair removal dependant on skin type etc.
1. Alexandrite Laser - This is the “GOLD” standard of hair reduction on skin types 1-3. High affinity for melanin. Best for light/medium skin tones. The laser has the ability to penetrate deeply into the dermis. The resultant heat build-up in the hair shafts disables the hair follicles in the active growth phase which enables it to achieve effective laser hair removal.
2. Nd:YAG Laser - The only real answer to darker skins. Types 4-6 can be treated safely and effectively. Less melanin absorption and lowest chance of post-treatment changes in skin pigmentation, especially when pulse duration is lengthened. Best for darker skin.
On average you will need 6-12 treatments at 4-6 weekly intervals, the positive part about coming to us is that we have many different options to choose from if your hairs are being non responsive.
Currently we are offering 6 treatments for the price of 4 on all areas of the body, alternatively you can pay per treatment.
If you do have any further questions or would like to book a complimentary consultation, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will be more than happy to help.
Our opening hours are:
Monday - Saturday 9-6pm
I look forward to hearing from you
